CAMPBELL RIVER, BC – The Campbell River RCMP and Crime Stoppers are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a black scooter.
According to an announcement from Crime Stoppers, the scooter was stolen from Campbell River’s Spirit Square between May 9th and 13th.
Police are looking for any information that could lead to the scooter’s location or the suspect who may have been involved with the theft.
The scooter is a black 2005 Yamaha BWS 49cc model.
Bicycle and scooter theft are on the rise, Campbell River Crime Stoppers are reminding residents to use good quality locks and chains to secure them, even if they are stopping somewhere familiar for only a few minutes.
