Quadra Island road work to start Tuesday

QUADRA ISLAND, B.C -Drivers can expect delays starting Tuesday, as Mainroad North Island Contracting crews will be working along Heriot Bay Road.

According to a release from Mainroad, crews will be working on the shoulder of the road from Tuesday, May 28th until June 14th.

The work is expected to take place between the hours of 8:00 a.m and 3:00 p.m.

Crews will be on Heriot Bay Road from West Road, to Rebecca Spit Road.

Single lane alternating traffic control will be implemented, and an alternate route via West Road will be
available.

Mainroad  North Island asks that commuters show respect for all roadside crews and slow down during the work times.
