Music lineup announced for Canada Day celebrations in Courtenay

COURTENAY, B.C- All the artists have been announced for the Canada Day celebrations this year.

The City of Courtenay says the headliners for this years event will be Vancouver natives ‘The Boom Booms’.

The lineup features many Comox Valley locals as well, including Time Well Wasted, and the Comox Valley Concert Band.

Here is the full schedule:

Sunday, June 30

  • Multi-Cultural Performances, 4:00pm – 7:30pm, Lewis Park
  •  Queue the Music, 7:30pm – 8:30pm, Lewis Park
  • The Boom Booms, 8:30pm – 10:00pm, Lewis Park

Monday, July 1

  • Comox Valley Concert Band, 9:00am – 10:00am, Civic Square (Cliffe Avenue/5th Street)
  • Tyler Bartfai, 9:00am – 10:00am, Corner of 5th Street and England Avenue
  • Comox Valley Drum Group, 9:30am, Downtown Courtenay
  •  Anela Kahimoe & Luke Blu Guthrie, 10:30am – noon, Lewis Park
  • DJ Booth, 11:00am – 3:00pm, Simms Park Stage
  • Time Well Wasted, 1:00pm, Lewis Park
  • Georgia Strait Big Band, 2:00pm – 4:00pm, Native Sons Hall
  •  Canadian Threads Variety Show, 7:00pm, Sid Williams Theatre
