Campbell River Live Streets continue with Chalk Art Festival

Campbell River Live Streets events continue this week with the Chalk Art Festival.

The event will start at 5:30pm in downtown Campbell River.

Community Events Program Coordinator Karen Chappell says it’s open for everyone to attend.

“Everybody can participate in this event, we have a lot of different categories. We also have some professional artists that are competing, and we have big prizes for adults, family, youth and child.”

The festival is a great way to get the community involved, and it makes for a great night out says Chappell.

“You should come on down because there is some really great stuff happening in downtown Campbell River in the evenings. It just builds a sense of community, and come check out the art, it’s absolutely fantastic.”

The Campbell River Live Street events happen every Wednesday night until August 14th.
