You still have time to have your say about secondary suites in the city.
The City of Campbell River is hosting two more information events. There will be on at the Sportsplex on September 5th and another one at the library on September 17th.
An online survey will also be available starting Monday. The last day to fill out the survey will be September 12th.
Residents can access the online survey through the city’s website. There will also be a Frequently Asked Questions section where residents can find answers.
City council passed the first reading of a draft bylaw that will allow secondary suites in all single-family residences on July 22nd. Council then asked city staff to move forward with public consultation on the proposed change.
Previous public information events were held on August 7th at the community centre and on August 20th at the Willow Point Hall.
The city says staff have also sought feedback from passersby at local grocery stores.
