Yesterday was the Royal LePage Snow to Surf Adventure Relay Race. During an event like this, there are always risks involved.
Safety is a concern for athletes and organizers. Now one cyclist was involved in a scary incident while biking on the highway. They were struck by a vehicle during the road bike leg of the race.
Event organizer Rick Gibson says it wasn’t the cyclist’s fault.
