The Campbell River and Comox Valley fire departments have just signed a memorandum of understanding with 19 Wing Comox, which will mean information and resources can be shared more easily.
Campbell River Mayor Walter Jakeway was one of the many local politicians at the Base in Comox for the Ceremony. He says, he hopes this is a sign of things to come.
The agreement makes it easier for department to share equipment if they need it, as well as help out in an emergency.
