UPDATE: The Campbell River RCMP has found Dorothy “Dot” Lewis. Police are thanking the public for their help.
The Campbell River RCMP is asking for your help finding an 86-year-old woman.
Dorothy “Dot” Lewis walked away from her home earlier this morning.
At 11:00am, RCMP officers were called to a home on Beaver Lodge Road near Kits Crescent after a family member found that Lewis was not there as expected.
Her family and police are concerned for her well-being.
She is described as;
- Caucasian
- Short, white hair
- 5 feet tall
- 130 pounds
- Wears glasses.
She walks with a limp and may appear confused.
Police have been unable to determine conclusively what she was last seen wearing but believe she may be wearing running shoes, a long-sleeved shirt and a purple vest.
If you see Lewis or have information on her whereabouts, you’re asked to call the Campbell River RCMP at 250-286-6221.
If possible, police are asking you to stay with her until they arrive.
