What’s your plan for Family Day?
A variety of free activities are happening in Campbell River on Monday for the entire family to enjoy.
Both Strathcona Gardens and the Sportsplex will be open to the public.
A Family Day Swim and Skate with hot chocolate will be held at Strathcona Gardens from 1:00pm until 4:00pm.
Over at the Sportsplex, Campbell River’s Recreation and Culture Department is offering a family gym, Golf Dart with the Campbell River Golf and Country Club, badminton, basketball, racquetball, squash, table tennis and foosball from 10:00am until 2:00pm.
There’s also going to be a craft and playdoh room along with a weight room for those aged 12 and up.
Families can join the Campbell River Kinsman for a pancake breakfast at the Sportsplex from 9:00am until 11:00am.
The breakfast costs $6 for adults, $3 for children and those under five eat for free.
They’re also planning to serve lunch from 11:30am until 1:30pm with hotdogs and chili on the menu.
