Campbell River boys escape disaster in Nepal

The recent 7.8 magnitude mega-quake in Nepal took thousands of lives and injured many others. 2 Campbell River residents were there. Now luckily, Tyler Kelly and Aidan Anderson survived, and they should be home soon.

But it was certainly a harrowing journey, and very tough on the families of the 2014 Carihi graduates.

Luckily Tyler’s mother, Shari Jensen says the boys should be home soon.

Shari explains why the boys were in Nepal in the first place.

Recently, foreign troops, including crews from 19 Wing Comox, have been dispatched to help with the relief efforts in Nepal.
