Campbell River’s Francophone Association has just gotten a huge boost from the federal government.
North Island MP John Duncan says, they putting forward $60,000 to help fund French programming and support.
He says the French language and culture are very important.
Duncan says the association helps make sure there is a degree of French available in the community.
