Another school in Campbell River has been added to Island Health’s COVID-19 exposure list.

A general exposure notification has been issued for Timberline Secondary School.

The health authority says dates of exposure in the school community were on February 16th, 17th, and 18th.

In a statement, School District 72 said: “Island Health is completing contact tracing and will contact any staff or students that need to self-isolate or self-monitor for symptoms.”

This latest exposure notification for a Campbell River school comes just days after another positive test was confirmed at Carihi Secondary.

In total, there are now six schools on Island Health’s COVID-19 exposure list. More details here.
