Campbell River resident arrested after drug trafficking investigation

A Campbell River man is facing multiple charges following a drug trafficking investigation that lasted two months.

Brandon Viskovich was arrested on Dec. 10 after Campbell River RCMP searched his vehicle and two residences linked to Viskovich.

RCMP seized over 22 grams of cocaine, 347 grams of psilocybin and approximately one pound of cannabis.

Police also obtained more than $26,000 in cash and two vehicles.

Viskovich has been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of cannabis for the purpose of distributing and unauthorized possession of a prohibited device.

“Due to the nature of drug investigations, said Campbell River RCMP Const. Maury Tyre. “The charge approval process can be quite lengthy after someone is arrested. When charges for trafficking are approved we are committed to let the public know of the work we have undertaken as a detachment.”
