New luxury resort coming to Campbell River

Development of a new 93-room luxury resort has been announced in Campbell River, with the hotel expected to open in 2023.

The Naturally Pacific Resort will share the site with the Campbell River Golf Club. Developers say it will have luxury dining, spa, a pool and outdoor space along with others.

Development is being managed by the local Mailman family, who also own Seymour Pacific Developments and Broadstreet Properties.

“Our family has a long history in Campbell River, and it gives us tremendous pleasure to bring this resort to our region,” said Amanda Raleigh, managing director, Naturally Pacific Resort.

They add the resort will be geared toward tourism opportunities in the river city.

“Campbell River has always been a sought after tourist destination and with increasing demand, we felt it was the perfect time to build this resort and support the tourism community.”

The design of the hotel will be done by CHIL Interior Design, and is planned to have a modern colour scheme.

They add Campbell River’s tourism options include hiking and sightseeing in nearby provincial parks, marine and wildlife tours and salmon fishing.

More information can be found on the Campbell River Golf Club website.
