Two Lower Mainland residents charged with drug trafficking in Campbell River

Today has seen two Lower Mainland residents charged with drug trafficking in Campbell River.

According to the Campbell River RCMP street crimes unit, the residents were apprehended by police on Nov. 16 2022, after trafficking activities were witnessed in the city.

Following their arrests, police found cocaine and fentanyl packaged for street sale.

Parmvir Dhaliwal and Gurvinder Deo have each been charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl and one count of obstructing a police officer.

A trial date for the offenses has yet to be set, according to the RCMP.
