You’ll be seeing a new stage of BC Hydro’s John Hart Generating Station Replacement Project begin this week.
Just behind the existing powerhouse on the Campbell River, surface blasting will be going on four to five times a week.
BC Hydro Stephen Watson says there won’t be any trail closures, and we shouldn’t expect too much noise from this as well.
Watson adds the surface blasts are highly controlled and are all covered with blast matting.
