On September 28, around1 p.m., a crash occurred between two vehicles on Highway 19, 25 kilometres North of Campbell River.
Campbell River RCMP Diane Schwager says the crash lead to one person being killed.
Schwager adds North Vancouver Island traffic services are assisting Campbell River RCMP and the Island District Analysis Reconstruction at the scene conducting the investigation.
Highway 19 is currently closed in both directions, updates will be given as the investigation continues.
