North Island College has secured new funding to expand programming across the North Island.
The 2.1 million dollars in funding comes from the Ministry of Advanced Education, the Industry Training Authority, and multiple community partners.
V-P of Learning and Students, Lisa Domae  says 24 programs will be rolled out across the North Island.
Domae says the programming was developed based on feedback from communities, students, and industry stakeholders.
