The City of Campbell River has been recognized for its spending control.
Mayor Andy Adams says the city was named the best performing of BC’s largest municipalities by the Canadian Federation of Independent Businesses.
Adams says it’s a testament to the hard work of city staff. He adds it’s the first time in his 10 years on council that they have a full compliment of staff in their finance department.
The 2016 Financial Plan discussions will be taking place Monday to Wednesday next week.
