Staying Active this Holiday Season

Some of us loose motivation when it comes to staying active during the winter months.

But the provincial government says we should at least get 150 minutes of physical activity per week.

Health Minister Terry Lake says it can be as simple as going outside to play with your kids, building a snowman, or taking the dog for a walk.


British Columbia’s Healthy Families Strategy Plan incorporates addressing health prevention issues, unhealthy eating and tobacco use.
