332 milimetres of rain on the North Island

Almost every day in December so far, the North Island has received some rain.
Environment Canada senior climatologist David Philips says even for west coast people, you have to be impressed.
Philips says when you look at the numbers; the amount of rain in the first 12 days of December has been 332 millimetres of rain, where normally it would be at 90.

Philips says it is the monsoon season but what we’re seeing is almost Indian monsoons, not British Columbian.
