The Campbell River fire department was busy yesterday morning.
Just before eight o’clock, fire crews were called to a structure fire in the industrial area at the 1900 block of Coulter Road.
Deputy Fire Chief Thomas Doherty says upon arrival, crews found heavy black smoke coming from an industrial Styrofoam plant.
Doherty says at this point investigation is ongoing, and they have no comment on the cause of the fire.
