Campbell River Family Literacy Week is coming up this month for its ninth year.
During the last week of January, there will be free events hosted by the Campbell River Literacy Association and Campbell River Literacy Now.
Spokesperson Kat Eddy says this year, their focus will be around music because it’s a learning tool that is often overlooked.
Eddy says music is so valuable for language development and early learning.
