District 72’s public consultation process is underway.
The first public consultation meeting to discuss the proposed closure of Oyster River Elementary School is January 27.
Superintendent Thomas Longridge says there are actually two purposes of the public consultation period.
Longridge says they do hope and welcome the contributions from the community in regards to sharing information that they may need to know.
He adds the process includes two public meetings with each school community, as well as many opportunities to contribute to the conversation.
