A large 60 hectare fire on the North Island continues to burn at this hour.
Fire information officer Donna MacPherson says teams continue to work on the fire near Nimkish Lake that was first reported to them last week.
MacPherson says the Nimkish fire burning 3 kilometers east of Nimkish Lake.
MacPherson says crews are working with helicopters to wet down areas making sure the fire does not spread laterally.
