The Campbell River Shoebox Project

November 12 - December 6

$50

The Shoebox Project for Women, supported by Dream is back for the 7th year in Campbell River and the 3rd year in the North Island! The Shoebox Project collects and distributes gift filled Shoeboxes valuing $50 to women who are homeless or at risk of homelessness across North America and the United Kingdom.

How to make a Shoebox for a woman in your community:
1. Decorate your empty Shoebox. Please wrap the lid and bottom separately so it can be opened for inspection.
2. Fill your Shoebox with little luxuries that would help a woman feel special. Gifts should be valued at approximately $50.
3. Write a Message. Let your Shoebox recipient know that you are thinking of her with a warm note or an uplifting card. .
4. Deliver your Shoebox to a drop off location from November 12th to Friday December 6th:
 In Campbell River: Coastal Community Credit Union (Discovery Harbour), La Tee Da Lingerie (Shoppers Row) or Sundance Java Bar (Sunrise Square at Willow Point).
 In Port Hardy: North Island Crisis & Counselling Centre Society (Beverly Parnham Way)
