Carihi’s “The Little Mermaid”

Carihi’s Musical theatre program is presenting Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” online, starting today, June 2-5, and June 10-12 at 7:00PM, with matinees on June 5 and June 12.Tickets are available through ShowTix4U.com at this link: https://www.showtix4u.com/event-details/52610
The shows are “scheduled content” which means you choose the date and time you want to watch from the ticket options, and then you must watch at that time. The stream can’t be paused or rewound, so it’s like you’re watching a live show. We also hired a pro videographer and pro sound technician to make the show look and sound great online and optimize your viewing experience from your living room couch.
This is a really talented cast of students, and they have been working on the show all year long. The director Christine Knight, choral director Beth Kingston and Vocal coach Amy Lelliott are so impressed with how hard these kids have worked. Last year we lost our musical “Newsies” two weeks before we opened, as Covid hit just before we could go on stage. That was really hard, and we really wanted to make sure this year’s show happened, pandemic or not. We lost a lot of money last year too, so we are hoping this show will help us get back on our feet again. Thanks for helping us promote the show.
