DRIVE AWAY DOMESTIC VIOLENCE GOLF TOURNAMENT
The Campbell River & North Island Transition Society’s “Drive Away Domestic Violence” annual golf tournament will be held at Storey Creek Golf Club on June 11, 2023.

The Drive Away Domestic Violence annual golf tournament is a scramble format golf tournament that raises money for programs and services that provide safe shelter and access to resources for women and children. The event is hosted by the Campbell River and North Island Transition Society, which provides a continuum of services to women and their children, including emergency shelter, counseling, supportive recovery programs, transitional housing, and poverty relief.
The event is open to everyone and promises to be a fun-filled day for all participants. For $190.00, participants will enjoy a game of golf, a delicious meal, the opportunity to peruse the silent auction, and the chance to win in the 50/50 draw. The event also features some fun contests such as highest KP men/women’s, longest drive men/women’s, best dressed, highest and lowest scoring team, and an opportunity for a hole in one with Rollin’ Island Autos.

Overall, the event aims to raise much-needed funds to support the programs and services that are provided for free to women, children, and families in Campbell River and the North Island.
