Storm Convert a Busy Long Weekend into wins

The Campbell River Storm closed out the 2015-16 regular season on the road in Nanaimo last night. On the strength of a strong performance from Colin Blake and Aaron Brewer they skated to a convincing 5-1 victory over the Buccaneers.

Reece Costain had another strong showing as Head Coach Lee Stone explains.

The Storm’s Riley Welyk had a great night between the pipes turning aside 25 of 26 shots.

Campbell River closes out the regular season with the second best record in BC Junior B hockey behind the Victoria Cougars. Stone shares his perspective on their play so far.

Campbell River opens the playoffs at the Brindy on Tuesday night against the Saanich Braves.
