BC Hydro will begin migration flows starting tonight.
The increase in flows will help with steelhead migration and spawning in between the John Hart Generating Station and Elk Falls.
Spokesperson Stephen Watson says BC Hydro will be doing a series of these increases about every two weeks into April. He adds the flows will increase from four cubic metres up to ten.
Watson says BC Hydro will also have safety signs up for visitors around the area.
