A rally is being held at Campbell River City Hall Thursday afternoon to raise awareness of the needs for services for the homeless in the community.
Diane deHaan is with the group Grassroots Kind Hearts.
deHaan says the rally is being held to mark the closure of the shelter space for the year and to raise awareness of the need for year-round supports for the homeless in our community.
The group has also launched a petition on change.org
