The risks of hosting a party

High school graduations are about to begin and summer parties are around the corner, so Campbell River RCMP are reminding residents the risks involved in hosting parties.
Constable Sara Clark says hosts are civilly liable for any circumstances that stem from consumption on their property whether its adults or youth, consuming either drugs or alcohol.

Clark says an underage liquor consumption fine can be given out for $575, and if a party is causing a noise disturbance, a fine of $250 can be included.
