Campbell River will be getting its own rainbow crosswalk to celebrate pride this month.
Marketing Coordinator Heidi Cuff says they were a little late in the process to get it approved last year, but they were able to get the temporarily permit from the public art committee this year.
Cuff says the party runs June 25, and they will be painting the crosswalk earlier that week.
Cuff says the project has received an overwhelming amount of support from the community.
