The Coastal Fire Centre is asking residents to be careful if they plan on enjoying a campfire.
Fire Information Officer Marg Drysdale says the risk of fires spreading is still there.
Drysdale reminds residents that bonfires are not allowed, and if you’re caught burning a bonfire, you could face a fine of 11 hundred and fifty dollars.
Dysdale notes that everyone sitting around a bonfire will be fined. Fire regulations can be found through the Coastal Fire Centre’s website.
