The City of Campbell River is forwarding a resolution regarding free prostate cancer testing.
During Monday night’s council meeting, city counsillors agreed this is important to their community and the province.
Counsillor Michelle Babchuk noted this is quite similar to mammography screening for women.
It’s reported that 1 in 8 men in BC will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime.
