One of the operators of a medical marijuana dispensary says the current laws limit patient’s access to much-needed medications.
The dispensary has been raided twice by RCMP, which maintains the storefront operation is in violation of Health Canada regulations.
Joel Wilson says the current laws limit patient’s access to medication.
Wilson is calling on the city to take steps to allow the dispensary to operate in the city until the Federal Government’s decision on medical marijuana.
Council has decided to hold off until that decision comes down, which is expected August 24th.
