Campbell River teachers excited at prospect of voting on the tentative deal

After five days of marathon talks the BC Teachers’ Federation and the Government have hammered out a tentative agreement with the help of mediator Vince Ready.

Campbell River and District Teachers’ Association President, Dave Harper, says the details of the deal are still being worked out.

Harper says he has already been talking with Campbell River teachers about the deal.

Harper says teachers will be on picket lines until their vote on Thursday.

If teachers vote to ratify this tentative agreement it looks like students could be back at school early next week.
