Campbell River Fire is reminding people to be careful where you discard cigarette butts.
Deputy Chief Thomas Doherty says crews were called out to a fire Thursday evening in the area of Jubilee and Dogwood.
Doherty says it’s important that cigarettes are properly put out, especially given how dry the conditions are right now.
