New Policies to protect students from discrimination and bullying

New requirements are being put in place to protect students from discrimination and bullying.

BC Education Minister Mike Bernier made the announcement yesterday.

He says it’s important that all districts have policies to protect students, regardless of gender identity.

Bernier says the goal of the new requirements is to ensure all schools across the province have policies in place to protect students.
