Trades students across the North Island are benefiting from an investment in new technology at North Island College.
The Province has provided 187-thousand dollars, which was used to purchase new equipment for the electrician, heavy mechanical, and welding programs.
Instructor Chris Udy says having up to date equipment makes a big difference for the students in their training.
The new equipment is located at the Campbell River Campus.
