Ideas being collected for future of Hagel Park

The Strathcona Regional District’s public design event for the Hagel Park Replacement Project was a success.

Parks and planning manager at the SRD Aniko Nelson says it was an envisioning event for the replacement project, and was well attended by many people with different ideas.

She says the majority of the public said they want to see something that would provide different equipment for a variety of age groups.

Nelson says you can still submit some ideas online until this Friday through the SRD website.

She adds once they have all the input, they will pool all the information together and create a concept.
