A new tourism strategy is launching this fall for the City of Campbell River.
City Manager Deborah Sargent says the five year tourism strategy adopted by council puts forwards a rolling strategy that focuses on the unique benefits that the city has and the unique attributes that attract tourists to the community.
She says the strategy also includes a Tourism Advisory Committee, which includes nine members.
Sargent says they will also be putting out a request for proposals for professional tourism marketing services while the city recruits for the committee.
