City asking residents to help keep catch basins clear

The City of Campbell River is asking residents to help keep catch basins clear.

Roads Supervisor Jon Isfeld says we’re into the time of year when debris starts to accumulate.

Isfeld says the city is asking residents to keep an eye out and clear any debris that’s gathering on top of the catch basin grate.

Isfeld says it’s a good idea to take a look at catch basins if there’s a lot of rain in the forecast or if the forecast is calling for snow.
