Nominations have opened for the Small Business BC Awards.
Awards Communications Manager Mark Blendheim says the awards were created to celebrate entrepreneurs across the province.
He says 98% of businesses in BC are small businesses, and this is a way to shine the light on them and making sure they are recognized for their hard work.
Blendheim says Campbell River had quite a few businesses nominated during the past few years, such as Industry Hair and Body Care, and Kiki’s Printing Services.
He says they are looking forward to getting a lot more nominations this year from the community.
The nomination deadline is November 30.
