The Strathcona Regional District has chosen its new Chair and Vice-Chair. Sayward Mayor John McDonald were serve another year as chair of the board.
McDonald says he has a several priorities in mind, such as transparency for what taxpayers are paying for. He also wants to move forward in regards to the tourism sector.
Campbell River City Councillor Michele Babchuk will serve as Vice-Chair.
