The city of Campbell River has adopted the recommendations made by the Forestry Task Force.
One is for direct communication between council and the Task Force regarding Industrial Tax Rates in the city.
City Councillor Charlie Cornfield says the Task Force is asking the city to re-evaluate the tax rate, as it could be a potential blockade to the growth of the forestry sector.
Cornfield says Light and Heavy Industrial zoning promotion is also affected by the status of the industrial tax rate.
