An open house is taking place this evening to discuss the draft Local Area Plan for the Saratoga – Miracle Beach area.
Ann MacDonald with the Comox Valley Regional District says the area was identified as a settlement node in the RD Growth Strategy and this plan will help to direct how that growth will occur.
MacDonald says staff will be on hand to present the draft plan, gather feedback and also provide updated information on several studies done in the area on issues like water and septic in the area.
The meeting is taking place at the Oyster River Fire Hall, starting at 5:30 PM.
