Staff begin budget meetings

The city is holding its budget meetings this week. Meetings begin today and are scheduled to take three days. Campbell River Mayor Andy Adams says starting the planning process now is beneficial for both council and staff.

Adams says council will also be considering the feedback received during this year’s Citizen Satisfaction Survey.

One of the capital projects that staff is working on is the new water intake project, which Adams says is the largest one in Campbell River history.
