The regional district is working to improve Strathcona Gardens.
The plan is in its feasibility stage and staff is gathering public opinion on how to upgrade the facility.
Regional District Special Projects and Sustainability Manager Victoria Smith says the feedback gathered will help to determine what work needs to be done.
Smith hopes to be progressing with blueprint design bythe end of 2017.
She says should funding be provided by the provincial and federal governments, construction will start in 2020.
