The head of the North Island Hospitals Project is looking forward to the coming year.
The new facilities are scheduled to open later this year.
Tom Sparrow says there will be a lot of information coming out in the next year as the transitions to the new facilities take place.
Sparrow says there will be community tours organized this summer to allow people to check out the new hospitals before the final sterilizations happen.
The hospitals are scheduled to open in the fall.
